Our Story

Cameron's Furniture began in early 2021, the day Cameron brought home a couch he found on Facebook Marketplace, one so dirty it looked brown instead of white. He borrowed his dad's truck, hauled it home, and set out to see what he could do with it.

His partner Dia wasn't exactly thrilled to have a filthy couch sitting in the middle of their living room, and she wasn't the biggest supporter on day one. But after hours of cleaning, scrubbing out marks and dirt, the couch came out looking great, and Dia was quickly jumped on board with the idea. Cameron listed it on Facebook Marketplace, and Cameron's Furniture was born.

Cameron has always loved the idea of giving used items a second life and that idea quickly became the foundation of business he's built.

A couch is often the centrepiece of a family's living room. Finding the right piece at the right price makes all the difference, and there's nothing we enjoy more than delivering a couch to a family who will really use and appreciate it. Along the way, we get to clean, stitch, patch, and repair furniture that would otherwise end up in a landfill, giving it years of extra life instead.

We're grateful to run a business in Halifax that supports our family and makes a small positive impact on the community around us. We're looking forward to growing, learning, and meeting more of our neighbours as we expand.
